The agitators in Delhi, who have been demanding justice to the victim of Delhi gang rape, have gheraoed Delhi chief minister Shiela Dikshit at Jantar Mantar. They raised slogans that there was no security to women in the national capital territory. Chief minister reportedly assured that stringent action would be taken against the culprits and promised better steps for complete safety of women.

As the slogans against Shiela Dikshit echoed Jantar Mantar, she managed to lit a candle to condole the death of the rape victim. It's unfortunate that such incidents are taking place time and again in the national capital. Observers opined that Delhi being the capital city someone or the other VIP keeps visiting the place and complete security was given to them by diverting the law and order police. If that's the case, then Delhi government should ensure that enough police patrolling is in place.
