Owing to negative speculation NBK cancels Ahmedabad visit

Versatile actor and TDP sympathizer Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK) cancels his Ahmadabad visit, to be a part of Narendra Modi's big day. Modi won for the third time in Gujarat general elections and was having his swearing in ceremony scheduled for the day (December 26). He had personally invited a few dignitaries for the function. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa accepted the invitation.

On the other hand,  from Andhra Pradesh, NBK was invited by the triumphant CM. Even the actor was prepared to attend the function amidst wide speculations, within the party. Many senior TDP leaders expressed that at this crucial point when Modi was speculated to be the future Prime Ministerial candidate for BJP, it would not be right for the actor to be a part of the publicity. In other words NBK's attendance would be sending signals of a possible alliance between the two parties in the near future.

Owing to the majority opinion, looks like even the party supremo N Chandrababu Nadu influenced the present decision of NBK by counseling him of the senior's fear. Eventually the actor reluctantly but due to pressure refrained from honoring the invitation.

However rumours were abuzz that Modi had spotted the future lead of the TDP and sent the invitation to get him into his fold for 2014 elections. Things went awry, probably sensing his logic, by the party politburo. (Wishesh AarKay)
