Will Kavuri be pacified? Morning Wishesh

Babu1Tirupati: Devotees influx normal today, however 53,465 pilgrims visited the temple town on Wednesday. In the early hours of the day about 6 compartments are filled and the average darshan time is just four hours. TTD plans extensively for Vaikunta Ekadasi falling on 23 and 24 of this month. All devotees who purchase the special Rs300 ticket will be allowed to enter the temple through the “MAHA DWARA DARSANAM” (main entrance).

Babu2Will Kavuri be pacified: Eluru Congress MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao  turned his discontent into a protest for the controversial Kolleru lake. Owing to his seniority the chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy set up a panel of ministers to look into the Kolleru row. The MP who bore a grudge for not getting a berth in cabinet expansion turned his ire by a threat to stage a rail roko and rasta roko in order to realise the demands of the people who were deprived of land due to the lake. Will this new committee resolve the impending issue? Will this ulterior move by the CM pacify the MP?

Babu3T meet mooted by centre or state T MPs: Now the proposed T meet on December 28 called by the Congress led UPA government to discuss on T issue seems to be everyone's baby. Initially the T Congress leaders were aloud in claiming that the meet was due to their pressure. On the other hand, union ministers Shinde and Azad openly admitted that it was for the T Congress MPs that the meet was organized. Till this point everything was good, but later the ministers  sent out feelers that the exercise was only to see the intentions on the issue and  a decision might take more time. Struck by this blow in order to save their face  the MPs are now taking a u-turn that if it was due to their pressure then why has the high command not gone by one leader per party formula urged by them. However in reality critics feel that to gain in the vote on FDI in retail this was a plan enacted by the leaders.

Babu4Tirumala: Yesteryear Bollywood starlet from South Hema Malini and her daughter Esha Deol visited the Tirumala temple. But Esha's tattoo on her right back revealed by her blouse attracted the ire of the onlookers. Esha had the holy 'Gayatri Mantram' tattooed on her back. On questioning, she replied that it was 'personal'. Sometimes personal whims and fancies also hurt mass sentiments, is the moral of the story.

Babu5Gujarat: First phase of polling commences today in the state. It is a tough battle for the chief minister Narendra Modi as the Congress has Ms Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi extensively campaigning in the state. It has been a prestige for both the Congress and BJP in this most prosperous state.
