Telangana issue: Shinde invites 2 from each party for all party meet

The union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has written letters to the nine recognized political parties in the state, including YSRC and Lok Satta, to attend the all party meeting at 10 am on December 28 in Delhi. The home minister has asked two representatives from every political party to attend this meeting, which was predominantly aimed at bringing consensus between political parties for carving out a state of Telangana.

The meeting is going to take place in the north block in Delhi. This all party meeting was a result of demand from Congress MP s during FDI meeting. Although Congress MP s stressed only one person would be sent from each political party. However, home minister-in his letter-invited two representatives from each party. From CPI, Gunda Mallesh and Narayana are going to take part in the meeting.

In the wake of TDP and Lok Satta parties stressing that they are not against formation of Telangana, what stand would they give at all party meeting has become an interesting topic.
