Sujana Chowdary succumbs to pressure, steps down

On Sunday, Sujana Chowdary, better known as Y Satyanarayana Chowdary offered to resign from the post after he succumbed being mounted upon him externally and internally shortly following the FDI debacle. He had not attended the FDI voting in Rajya Sabha and the parties decided to lash at him for his costly mistake, which have left a mark on him.

Sujana decided to send his resignation letter to Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday while mentioning that he was deeply offended and hurt by the attacks on him from other parties and within the party too. He couldn't bear the attacks directed at him after he had abstained from voting on the FDI in Rajya Sabha though he apologized and explained the situation repeatedly.

Being an industrialist he stated that he wouldn't succumb to any money power.

"I have submitted my resignation to Naidu and it is for him to forward it to Rajya Sabha chairman. I will continue to serve the party as an ordinary worker and disciplined soldier," he added.

Earlier Sujana Chowdary said that his mistake was a costly one, and unpardonable.
