Reaching the mid of the week, we have succesfully tried to cross half way through to reach our cozy weekend (chuckles). Ok lets get into serious business before the hectic schedule starts. The former Prime Minister of UK's statement is applicable to people from all walks of life under all circumstrances. As the end result is only a beginning to another journey, be it success or failure, they are just pros and cons of the way we plan and execute.

Morning-Wishesh-03Independence day: Today has a prominence to be the most celebrated independence day for three countries. They are Panama which became independent from Spain in 1821,  Albania  from Turkey in 1912 and Mauritania from France in 1960.  

 

Morning-Wishesh-04Importance of the day: In 1814 on this day the first mass-newspaper was printed by the The Times of London using German machinery which resulted in today's hard copy.

 

Morning-Wishesh-05Tirupati: Being Karthika Pournami there is sparkling invocation found across the temple city and devotees are expected in good numbers to celebrate the late evening festival today. In the morning only five compartments were filled and the darshan might just take two hours. The Lord will be invoked through various celebrations on this auspicious day. The events planned include Garuda Vahana Seva and Deepotsavam in the evening.

 

Morning-Wishesh-06Khamam: A bear that strayed into the tribal Patha Lingampadu village in the early hours injured two farmers. The injured were shifted to hospitals in Bhadrachalam to be treated.


Morning-Wishesh-07Padayatra: The easiest way to stay in power is to reach out to people and politicians are adopting this strategy to win the public confidence. The two leaders who have embarked on this massive walkathons are YSR Congress party Sharmila and TDP Supremo N Chandrababu Naidu.

Sharmila would be criss crossing Mahbubnagar and trek for almost 18 kms for the day, in her 'Maro Praja Prasthanam.' The YSRCP leader is on the tenth day in the district. On the other hand Babu will be covering Nizamabad district in his 'Vastunna Mee Kosam' for the eleventh consequitive day.


Morning-Wishesh-08Anantapur: High Court has cancelled the 'hang to death' orders issued by Anatapur court on a person who was accused of murdering four persons. In a remarkable judgement the bench found that the accused was not guilty and declared him innocent.

Manju of Podaralla Village was accused of killing four persons by dousing them with petrol and ligting them. The injured succombed due to the injuries. However as the police could not prove his involvement, the apex court declared him innocent in the case. Earlier in May, Anatapur court had declared his hanging orders.


Morning-Wishesh-09Godavari: The Godavri basin across the Telangana and Andhra regions was filled with devotees who took a plunge in the river due to Karthika Pournami. Devotees gathered in large numbers and immeresed in the holy river.  



Morning-Wishesh-10Sports: After the dismal performance against the England team in the first two tests Master Blaster Sachin urges the selectors to decide on his innings. To stay clear from a sticky wicket the selectors who met at Mumbai on Tuesday decided to go ahaed with the same team  for the next test in Kolkata on December 5 as a part of the Indo-English series.
