Kavuri to refrain from parliament sessions

Congress MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, who tendered his resignation after the expansion of the central cabinet recently, said he would not attend the parliament sessions. It is known that his resignation was not accepted by prime minister Manmohan Singh. He made it clear that he would not attend the parliament sessions even if Congress party issues a whip.

Today, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao met Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal at the state secretariat and discussed undisclosed matters with chief minister Kiran Kumar too. Later, Lagadapati Rajagopal spoke to the media. He said it was unfortunate to note that Congress party didn't give due recognition to Kavuri Sambasiva Rao.

The observers said that Lagadapati Rajagopal criticizing Congress high command publicly especially when YSRC and TRS are opening doors to leaders from other parties is becoming a topic of town.
