The union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has said that he couldn't tell as to when there would be a statement on Telangana. He has also said that the talks were underway and also mentioned that there would be no all party meet in the near future. Mr. Shinde has even said that he didn't discuss the statehood issue with TRS chief K Chandrashekara Rao. Nonetheless, he said a few of MP s and MLA s met him a couple of times on this issue. It may be noted that Telangana statehood issue has been dragging the attention of the media and even the centre ever since the latter officially announced that the process for the formation of Telangana would be initiated. Since TRS party claimed that formation of Telangana was in near future, Sushil Kumar Shinde made this statement.
