'Padayatra, vasthunna mee kosam': TDP blows war bugle

After a mind grooming session, the leading opposition, Telugu Desam Party, has achieved their objective today. They have named their cross state march 'Padayatra as 'vasthunna mee kosam.' That simply means that the walk is for public awareness.  Addressing a press conference at the NTR Trust Bhavan, party leaders confirmed the name. And the walk is scheduled to commence from October second, being the birthday of the Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

The said walk shall commence from Hindupur Hanuman Temple and in the Anantapur District itself the party shall walk for almost thirteen days. From here they would move across to the adjacent districts.

This move by the leader is observed as a single weapon that shall solve many issues to the party, say political critics. The party was loosing its vast presence, after the bypoll results that showed up the facts. Now this would work out as a revamping measure for grouping the cadre, who are shattered. Then the impending  letter by the TDP to the centre on the separate T issue, could very well be postponed, with out hurting either factions. Another reason would be, the question of leadership will not arise if the supremo is in the thick of the happenings, sort of an image make over, say critics. Whatever, Mr Naidu is set out on a mission with target 2014 general election, say some more.

It may be noted that earlier, today, the Party Supremo, N Chandrababu Naidu, expressed that the ruling UPA government led by the Congress party was anti people. And this he would like to focus by creating awareness in the public, during his padayatra, in the initial phase. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
