The union minister and AICC political observer to AP, Vayalar Ravi has said that TRS president K Chandrashekara Rao has urged him to take a swift decision on formation of Telangana state. Vayalar, who's in Delhi, has said that KCR met him only to discuss the bifurcation issue. Mr. Vayalar has also said that KCR elucidated him situation in the state while he listened to KCR's words carefully.

With Telangana Joint Action Committee announcing Telangana March and appealing crores of people to come together in Hyderabad, the pressure has been mounting on various political leaders on Telangana issue, said observers. They even said that Chandrababu Naidu's apparent decision to handover a letter to the Centre in favour of Telangana state was taken in the wake of the momentum of the movement for separate state.
