Gudiwada former MLA, Raavi Venkateshwara Rao has joined Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the presence of party supremo Chandrababu Naidu on Monday in Hyderabad.  Babu, who welcomed Raavi Venkateshwara Rao has said that his father helped NTR a lot when the latter contested in elections from Gudiwada. He said Raavi was denied a party ticket in 2004 due to some reasons and said that Raavi would be given a ticket for sure in 2014 elections.

Hailing the party activists, Chandrababu Naidu has said that it was due to endless efforts of the activists, Telugu Desam Party has got world wide recognition. Further, he said that TDP would come to power in 2014. Taking on ruling Congress, he alleged that the government was not in condition to provide uninterrupted electricity supply even in rainy season.
