Govt will foster industry growth: Ponnala

The Minister for Information Technology Ponnala Laksmiah today ascertained that the Congress Government was bent upon improving the industries in the state. While speaking at the Quality Circle Forum of India, Hyderabad Chapter, he said that the government has received a green signal from the center for three more IT zones in the suburbs. The Quality forum was celebrating the 25th Annual Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts’. The event was held at the Expotel Hotel in the state capital and had participation from many companies in the city.

Participating in the event the Minister said that Quality was the watchword for successful exports and the organisations must clearly concentrate on the issue. He said as far the government is concerned they are there to encourage the industry in the best possible way. Another dignitary on the occasion was Loksatta Party President Dr Jayaprakash Narayan. He lashed out at the ruling UPA government and the state Congress party.

He said the the center and the state failed in giving quality assurance to the public. He also said that both the governments were corrupted and did nothing good for the people. Adding that this issue had been evident in the ongoing spectrum scam, coal gate and other issues unearthed recently. He was anxious over the course of the nation where the quality took a back seat.
