Keep state in tack, appeal Cong MP s

Congress MP s hailing from Seemandhra have met the AICC political observer to AP, Vayalar Ravi and AICC in charge of AP affairs, Gulam Nabi Azad in Delhi. They reportedly urged the central minister to ensure that they continue the status quo of Andhra Pradesh. This meeting gained prominence in the wake of predictions that Telangana would be carved out soon.

Notably, Vayalar Ravi and Gulam Nabi Azad are scheduled to arrrive in Andhra Pradesh on September 9 to look into several issues. Rumours are rife that they might ask Kiran Kumar Reddy to step down as the chief minister of the state. This was even endorsed by the former minister Shankar Rao. Since Congress high command didn't serve any show cause notice to Shankar Rao for making such statement, political observers stressed that Kiran is most likely to be replaced by some other leader. Who that leader is, has become a talk of the town although the best option available for Congress is Chiranjeevi.
