Former minister Shankar Rao, who often makes sensational statements and criticizes members from his own party publicly, has yet another made similar statement. He has questioned as to why CBI didn't arrest the home minister Sabita Indra Reddy in Obulapuram mining case. Shankar Rao has found fault with CBI's approach and demanded action against CBI. It may be noted that Shankar Rao met the union minister Narayana Swamy in Delhi this morning and expressed his displeasure over CBI not taking Sabita Indra Reddy into the custody.

It has to be mentioned here that Sabita Indra Reddy is one among the few ministers, who received notices from the Supreme Court over 26 controversial Government Orders (GO s).  And one of those ministers, Mopidevi was arrested in Vanpic case. So, Shankar Rao vented out his anguish stating that CBI was having biased approach. While CBI arrested Mopidevi, why is hasn't arrested Sabita, he questioned.
