After TDP-which came out with an apparent statement that it would submit a letter to the Centre in favour of separate state-it's BJP, which is all gearing up for drawing swords with Congress on the burning Telangana issue. Pitching the party's demand for a bifurcation, the BJP state president Kishan Reddy is getting ready for staging a satyagraha (protest) at Jantar Mantar in Delhi from September 3. The sources said that when Kishan Reddy sits for a protest, similar protests would be carried out by party folks across the region.
Kishan Reddy has lashed out at the Congress party and said the intentions of the party were clearly visible when it fielded a junior minister into the debate on Telangana in Rajya Sabha the other day. Further, he reiterated that September 17 (liberation of Hyderabad) should be celebrated officially by hurling National Flag at government offices in the state. If buzz is to be believed, BJP cadre in the state want to put Congress in a fix on Telangana issue since BJP already gave its stand on T and the other opposition in the state, TDP too is tilting towards T demand. So, what will Congress do now, is the question, which has become topic of the town.
