The segment that had to instill discipline and good character was itself in doldrums, though a rare case. A woman teacher has launched a complaint for 'Psychological harassment' against her superior. The woman teacher approached the District Educational Officer over a transfer request. However she alleged that the DEO spoke with disrespect with her when she went with the request. The woman teacher filed a complaint in this regards at the Kurnool Police station. The authorities assured that the case would be investigated and they are on the job.
Harassment at work places on women by their male superiors have been a regular affairs in the media. Not many offices are free from such situations, while corporates take immediate remedial actions, government offices make the process lengthy.
