Its a bright Monday morning at Hyderabad today after a series of power failures last night. Tirupati:Devotees rush continues in the  Lord of Seven Hills Shri Venkateswara's temple. Sources say that nearly 28 waiting halls have been filled and the Darshan might take nearly 15 hours. For stats on  Sunday, 85,850 number of devotees had the Lord's darshan. Fire accident in the Kitchen on the trekking tracks of the hills. The accident occurred in the late hours of the night and it has been brought under control by fierce fire fighting. Fire accident was the outcome of a possible short circuit, say sources, initially.

Mantralayam: Sri Raghavendra Swamy shrine in Mantralayam  is celebrating its  seven-day-long 341th ‘Aradhana mahotsav’ of the Lord. On Sunday the celebrations, thousands from across the country thronged the shrine with fervour to witness the event and have the divine darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swamy.

Mahanandi: Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam envisages an elaborate plan to improve the Mahanandi Kshetram, says TTD EO L V Subramanyam. TTD plans a 200 rooms for pilgrim stay, along with 4 Kalyana Mandapams and a Goshala, for the cattle. A mighty plan pending since long for this kshetram near Srisailam, would be taken up in a phased manner.
