Lok Satta's protest troubles people on roads

Lok Satta party, which always talks big about public grievance and stuff like that seems to have forgotten the traffic blues of Hyderabadis as the party folks gathered in large number at Khairatabad area of Hyderabad-in front of electricity office-and staged protest against the increased electricity prices. The city, which is already facing traffic problems due to damaged roads, road widening, metro works and repairs, reportedly witnessed the worse today due to Lok Satta party's protest.

The traffic has been completely obstructed and reports said that it would take at least an hour to clear the traffic. Also, there are two main hospitals after Khairatabad area - NIMS and Yashoda Hospital. So, people visiting these hospitals apparently got struck in the traffic. It may be noted that daily hundreds of persons visit NIMS hospital and maximum number of people travel through Khairatabad road to reach NIMS hospital. And during noon hours, these people reportedly carry lunch boxes and other fruits to the patients and they mainly commute by buses. Blocking such an important road would undoubtedly irk people.

The political observers said that Lok Satta party has managed to draw just a single seat and that too from Hyderabad city and in case JP led party causes such traffic problems in Hyderabad, the party might end up drawing zero in 2014 elections.
