IAS officers' association complaints against TG Venkatesh

Minister TG Venkatesh seems to be in soup as IAS officers' association is playing dice against him over his derogatory remarks on bureaucrats. The IAS officers are irked with minister TG Venkatesh's statements against them. He allegedly said all bureaucrats who don't work should be shot to death. These statements drew a lot of criticism from different sections of the society as civil services in one the prestigious services established by the law of India. The political analysts said that TG Venkatesh allegedly tried to insult the government itself by speaking against bureaucrats. In fact, Lok Satta chief Jaya Prakash Narayana too expressed his displeasure over Venkatesh's statements.

However, minister TG Venkatesh defended his statement and said he would tender apologies in case the inefficient bureaucrats come and admit their fault. IAS officers' association vented out its anguish against TG Venkatesh for his defensive statements. The association today met the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and requested him to take appropriate action against minister TG Venkatesh. Meanwhile, the sources said high command would ask Venkatesh to step down from the post after the presidential elections.
