Cong leaders continue to meet heads in Delhi

Top Congress leaders are meeting Congress heads in Delhi one after the other for the past few days and speculations are high among political circles stating that the leaders have been discussing some key matters pertaining to the state affairs. In fact, it was due to the regular meetings that gave scope for sources to speculate the change in the leadership in the state although chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy exuded confidence that there would be no change in the leadership. Congress MLAs and people, on the other hand, are expecting a news from Congress high command declaring MP Chiranjeevi as chief minister candidate.

On Friday, Botsa Satyanarayana and MP Sarve Satyanarayana have met bigwigs this morning. While Botsa met the union home minister P Chidambaram, Sarvey Satyanarayana has met UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi. The duo was said to have discussed the developments in the state. Notably, Sonia Gandhi, who usually will not speak to Congress leaders for more than 10 minutes due to time constraint, has spoke to Sarvey for 30 minutes.
