BJP has urged the public representatives from Telangana region not to caste their votes to Pranab Mukherjee, who is against the formation of a separate state. BJP national secretary Muralidhara Rao has said that Pranab Mukherjee was responsible for the present condition in the state. He has also said that Pranab Mukherjee, who labelled himself as the trouble shooter, couldn't solve the burning issue in the state.

Also, he said he was not asking to caste the votes to Sangma but urged the leaders not to vote for Pranab Mukherjee.
