Botsa & Kiran to leave for Delhi

The chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana are scheduled to leave for Delhi on Friday. They would meet the Congress high command. The sources said that the high command was not happy with the bypoll results and sought a report over the same. And Botsa Satyanarayana left for Delhi, a day after results came, with a detailed report on bypolls and the reasons behind the defeat.

The high command apparently seemed to be unhappy with the report and that could be the reason why it called Botsa and Kiran to come together and meet them in Delhi. Notably, this tour happens to be Kiran Kumar Reddy' first tour to Delhi after the results of bypolls. It is known that Congress won two MLA seats out of 18 in the recently concluded bypolls. The sources and political experts, while holding Kiran sarkar responsible for the defeat, said it was due to Congress MP Chiranjeevi that the party at least got two seats or else it would have faced the same situation what TDP faced. Notably, TDP drew zero in bypolls.
