Failure of Kiran sarkar and not Cong party: Shankar Rao

Senior Congress leader Shankar Rao has said that the bypoll results 2012 reflected the failure of Kiran Sarkar and not the failure of Congress party. The former minister wrote a letter to the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on the same subject. He has also demanded the high command to immediately change the leadership in the state including chief minister and PCC chief.

Shankar Rao has also predicted a political vaccuum in the state due to the bypolls. He has also said a change of leadership in the state is most likely. To make a point, Shankar Rao said Congress failing to draw seat in chief minister's native district Chittoor proved as to how much political charm the CM has.

One has to wait and watch whether Congress high command is going to act on Shakar Rao's letter and change the top leadership in the state. If yes, then chances are bright that Chiranjeevi would be made the chief minister as the credit of Congress winning in two constituencies goes to the mega star.
