Cong wins two seats

After a tough fight the ruling party just scrambles in time to win two seats in the Godavari districts. Congress contested in eighteen seats and won just two. Narasapuram in West Godavari and  Ramachandrapuram in East godavari are the lone seats that have favoured the ruling Congress party. Meanwhile the leading opposition YSR Congress party (YSRCP) wins thirteen seats. The strong signals of the people becomes heard at the electorate.

Earlier Congress party lost deposits in Macherla and Prathipadu constituencies were it figured as the third party. Situation looks grim for the ruling party with even its Rajya Sabha nominee actor turned Politician Chiranjeevi unable to get his candidate in Tirupati won. Even in Tirupati YSRCP candidate Bhumana Karunakar Reddy won against his Congress rival. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
