Celebrations go overboard, YSRC activists detained

Victory celebrations seem to have gone overboard. As the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) was declared eight seats celebrations were at full throttle.. The activists of the party had celebrated te victory in eight seats as predicted by them in the prepoll analysis. However the celbrations went beyond the limits at the Banjara Hills party office say sources. The YSRCP leader Rehman Khan was stung by the victory bug and participated in the jubiliation with non-stop enjoyment.

In his celebrations the leader pulled out a revolver from his waits and shot three rounds in air. The news of the firing has reached the police and they are trying to take him into control. Another set of activists were gearing up to celebrate the occassion near the Chenchalguda central prison where the YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has been lodged. Police objected the celebrations in view of security. There was a strong dialogue between the activists and the police. To avoid chaos police have taken 20 activists into control say sources.

As of now the party has won eleven constituencies and is leading in four constituencies. Congress has lost deposit in two, while winning one constituency. TDP is yet to register a win and TRS is in the lead in Parakala. (With inputs from internet-AarKay)
