Congress is the main hindrance in the Telangana formation said the BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar. Addressing the youth wing of the party at Gesukonda in Warangal district, questioned in what way it would be loss, if T-state was formed. The Rajya Sabha member of the party also said that during the BJP era earlier three new states had been formed and all the three were flourishing now.
The senior party leader said that he had brought in a special private bill on T State in the Rajya Sabha that ensued five-hour debate in the house. During that time he claimed that several Congress leaders approached him to downplay the issue. For which the leader reiterated that he would revoke the private bill if the Congress led UPA government brought in the formation of T state bill. As per the going the leader felt that Congress was not interested in granting the Telangana state.
