The YSR Congress Chief In-charge and Pulivendla MLA Vijayamma had been extensively campaigning for the party. Huge turnouts are visible at all her meetings. Vijayamma is accompanied by her daughter Sharmila. 'Vijayamma style' has been ridiculed by many leaders. Congress Leader Chiranjeevi during his campaigning at Tirupathi said that Vijayamma was just trying to garner sympathy from the public by rising speculations over the late Y S Rajashekar Reddy’s death. He added that YSR was a Congress leader and respected by all, but the financial discrepancies by his son Jagan cannot be excused.

At Hyderabad senior leader and former PCC Chief D Srinivas felt that the public are well aware of the crimes committed by Jagan. He further went on that Vijayamma’s campaigning will neither affect the Congress prospects in the by-polls nor will it raise sympathy for her party.

On the other hand senior TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu accused the YSR family members that not only were they well versed in committing crimes but also were versatile actors. The leader commented over `Vijayamma style’ in by-poll campaigning.  (With Inputs from Internet- Aarkay)
