The MLC from Warangal district Konda Murali was on Friday arrested and later released by police at Jangaon. The former Congress leader who had joined the YSR Congress spewed flares at the Congress government for masterminding the arrests. After his release the leader spoke to the media and vented out his anguish. In a curtly fashion he said that even a POTA case against him by the TDP government could do no harm to him. The arrest courted by the short-lived Congress government can do nothing to him.

Incidentally his wife Konda Sureka is the YSR Congress candidate for the Parakala constituency, for the by-polls scheduled early next month.  The leader said that he was going to meet the Legislative Committee Chairman to discuss the reasons for his disqualification. Inspite of informing the police of his intent, he was detained, which further agravated the YSR Congress leader. (With Inputs from Internet- Aarkay)
