Court turns down Jagan's anticipatory bail plea

Jagan's anticipatory bail was rejected by the CBI Court in Nampally on Thursday. It is known that Jagan’s counsels moved this plea stating that the arrest of Jagan would obstruct his by-election campaign.

The YSR Congress party leaders, who were in Hyderabad, have reportedly convened a meeting at the party office in the city. The sources said that the leaders discussed various matters pertaining to the developments taking place in the state. Also, the sources mentioned that YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy, who is currently in Guntur district, as a part of his by-election campaign, was likely to reach Hyderabad by night in the wake of CBI’s inquiry on May 25.

It is known that CBI asked Jaganmohan Reddy to appear for interrogation tomorrow in connection with illegal assets case.  Now that the court has rejected the bail petition, we have to wait and watch as to what would take place tomorrow. Will CBI really arrest Jagan tomorrow? If yes, then will it not make Jagan gain more sympathy?
