A notorious rowdy-sheeter in Hyderabad, Maruti Nayeem was found murdered in Reinbazar police limits of the city. The police are expecting that the murder would have taken place in the early hours of Friday. There had been over 100 cases against Naeem. He was an accused in setting Shanti Fire Works in the city on fire way back in 2004 that claimed 14 lives.
The police said suspect his associates hand in the murder as passers-by in Yakatpura informed the police that Maruti Nayeem and his associates were fighting among themselves. The call was received at 4.15 AM.
The police, who received the information, rushed to the spot but Nayeem was found lying dead with knife wounds on his body. Nayeem became Maruti Nayeem as he used to steal Maruti cars. (Phani)
