The East Zone Task Force Police in Hyderabad have cracked their whip on MMR World Travels for allegedly giving temporary and business visas with bogus documents. The additional DCP, Suhas Chaturvedi has said that the organizer of MMR World Travels, MM Raja has been arrested.

According to the police, MM Raja was basically a hardware professional. After working in many countries, Raja had set up  air ticketing and travels agency in Chiragali lane of Abids in Hyderabad. To overcome the financial troubles, he allegedly started visa processing with bogus documents.

Raja would do processing of visas only for those who wish to fly overseas without holding any qualification or job in hand. Since HI and F1 visas demand n number of applications and all certificates, Raja focused on B1 (business) visas.  The police said Raja would take around two lakh rupees for processing business visas with fake documents.

The task force, on getting reliable information, conducted raids on the agency run by Raja and recovered 17 passports, fake documents and computers.   (Phani)
