The Telugu Desam Party Chief N Chandrababu Naidu lamented that the Congress party was neglecting the common man. He said the party was busy confronting the internal controversies and failed to implement welfare schemes for the common man. He also said the ruling party was gripped with allegations and accusations. The Chief addressed senior party workers in the NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad, today.

Speaking on the occasion, he briefed the various issues the government had failed.  The first and the fundamental issue is the sand illegal quarrying, that has been on upraise in this government has led to the dry up of the water table. And most parts of the capital are experiencing acute water shortage. He also added that essential commodities are going out of the reach of the common man with escalating prices. The government is unable to bring down the escalating costs. Corruption and mafia culture are in upswing mode in the present government. He said that he felt miserable for the state of affairs prevailing. He also expressed anguish over the issuance of SEZ, which only supplemented the rich and helped the poor in no way.
