Municipal Administration Minister Mr Maheedhar Reddy disclosed today that a mega land scam took place in Visakhapatnam and the guilty would be punished as per the law.

Addressing a media conference in Visakhapatnam, he said he came to know of the scandal through his department officials.  “We will ask the vigilance department to probe the scam and action will be taken after receiving the vigilance report,” he said.

Maheedhar Reddy, who was on an official visit to the district, had refused to go deep into the details of the land scam. “You will soon learn the details,” he said simply when pressed for the details. (J)
