Nephew Umesh dares KCR to reveal T Bhavan Trustees

TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao’s nephew Mr Umesh Rao today demanded KCR to reveal the names of the Trustees running the Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad.

“If you have any guts, disclose the names of the Telangana Bhavan Trustees,” Umesh Rao challenged his maternal uncle in a press conference in Hyderabad.

Reacting to the news reports that KCR has been misusing the Telangana Bhavan by running his T News TV channel from the premises, he said it is a clear violation of the conditions imposed by the Government when the land was allotted to the party. “The land was allotted to him by the Government for running party office but he has been using it for commercial purposes,” he said, adding, it is also a clear violation of the concerned Acts.

He said he had already lodged a complaint with the Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi on the misuse of the party office and threatened to approach High Court if no action is taken.

Mohd Ali Shabbir demands Govt to reclaim land

Senior Congress leader and former minister Mr Mohd Ali Shabbir demanded the Government to take back the land given to the TRS.

“KCR has been running TV channel from the party office and the land must be reclaimed by the government,” he told newsmen in Hyderabad.

TRS was allotted one acre of land (4,840 sq. yd) located on Road No. 12 in the posh Banjara Hills for constructing party office on November 27, 2004 by the then chief minister YSR. (J)
