Psycho threat, which has shaken the people of Nellore and Ongole towns four months ago, is now terrorizing the people of Tenali town in Guntur district. Especially, the womenfolk fear to venture out on the streets after sunset.

After receiving several complaints from people that a naked psycho has been trespassing into houses in the dead of the nights and forcing people to undress and dance before him, police have formed 20 special teams to nab him.

Reports said the psycho had attacked a teacher and a girls’ hostel in the last ten days and forced the inmates to dance. In another instance, when a lady went to bath room to answer nature’s call at her house in Pinapadu area few days ago, the psycho was hiding in the bath room naked. When the terrorized lady raised an alarm, the psycho ran away in the darkness.

In two other instances, locals chased away the psycho when he was seen loitering around at the scattered houses in the Morrispet and Pinapadu area during the nights. They however failed to catch him as the psycho ran away and disappeared in the darkness.

When contacted, Tenali three town police station officials told andhrawishesh.com by phone that it was true that the psycho threat in the town was first reported on Feb 19. “We are doing our best to nab the psycho who is reported to be around 45 to 50 years of age,” said a police official.

However, a woman official working in a government office at Tenali revealed she saw the psycho last night and he would be around 30 to 35 years of age.

It might be mentioned here that the people of Nellore and Ongole towns were terrorized by a psycho four to five months ago and people failed to nab him.

Tenali police are at a loss to figure out whether the same psycho who terrorized the people in Nellore and Ongole towns had stepped into Tenali or a new psycho has emerged in the town. (J)
