Mr Jangam Praveen Reddy, doing his business management course in the UK, was today attacked with knives at his residence in London and his condition was stated to be serious.
Praveen Reddy is a resident of Pragathi Nagar at Vanasthalipuram in Hyderabad. His father Mr Sudhakar Reddy told journalists this afternoon he got the information from doctors at a London Hospital about the attack.
“I don’t know the reasons why my son was attacked and how many persons were involved in the attack,” he said. “Doctors told me Praveen had been stabbed in the stomach,” he lamented, adding he was trying to get Visa to visit London along with his wife.
Sudhakar Reddy said he sought help from the MLA Mr Sudheer Reddy for getting the Visas. Sudheer Reddy promised to speak to the CM and arrange for the Visas, he said. (JUBS)
