Karnataka minister Laxman Savadi: Yes I watched porn, it is not a crime

On Tuesday February 7th, In the state Assembly at the time of its proceedings, two Karnataka Ministers Laxman Savadi who is the minister for Cooperation and C C Patil Minister for Women and Child Development were caught on camera supposedly viewing a porn clipping on a mobile phone.Since its a awkward situation to the BJP Government in Karnataka.

So on Tuesday night in a strange safeguard Minister Laxman Savadi has accepted that in viewing porno movie in the assembly but he rejected in resigning from the minister post.

As Minister Laxman Savadi told reporters "Yes it is like a blue film. It was on Minister for Ports Krishna Palemar's mobile. The video clippings had women dancing and they were raped by four men. Palemar told me such things happen abroad in rave parties. Since the House was discussing the Malpe rave party, I watched it," 

The incident comes even as the government is battling the Opposition attack over the recent party held by foreigners in Malpe beach in Udupi district during a government-sponsored tourism festival.

Savadi went on saying, "Yes I watched it. But I have not committed any crime. It is not on my mobile. Just watching it is not a crime."

On the Opposition Congress and JDS demanding his resignation, he said, "No question of resigning. Such thought is not on my mind."

So when the reporters asking about his action and also specifying that taking a mobile phones within the House has been blocked, as he said, "I was not talking on my mobile. I was jsut viewing the clipping.Infact Savadi will not do such acts. I have not at any time done it."
