CPI Narayana goes satirical about Srilakshmi

CPI state secretary Narayana, who created a sensation by resorting to half naked demonstration in support of the demand for removal of VAT on clothes recently, made some interesting comments against the arrested IAS officer Y. Srilakshmi.

Addressing a media conference in Vijayawada Friday evening, he said Sri Lakshmi was more beautiful but she became more corrupt in tune with her beauty. “Sri Lakshmi is as corrupt as she is beautiful. She turned so much corrupt befitting her beauty,” observed Narayana.

“I used to interact with her in her initial days of IAS career and I found her sincere and duty minded. I really thought she would go to the Centre to serve the country,” he said, adding she however turned a corrupt officer as the years went by.

Taking objection to the complaints of the IAS officers against the CBI, he said it is not good for them to find fault with the CBI. “Finding fault with the CBI is good as supporting the corrupt IAS officers,” he said.

Narayana also talked of some sincere IAS officers who are not involved in corruption. “There are some good officers who are duty-minded without resorting to corruption but they are frequently transferred,” he said.

Speaking about the illegal mining case, Narayana demanded the CBI to arrest the Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy treating her as the accused number one. “How can such a scam take place without her knowledge when she was the Mining Minister?” he asked.  (JUBS)
