The higher education department today issued notification for the recruitment of 21,343 teacher posts through District Selection Committees (DSCs) headed by various district collectors.

11,602 posts of Secondary Grade Teachers, 5703 posts of school assistants, 2000 posts of language Pundits and 365 posts of Physical Education Teachers will be filled through these notifications.

There are 1673 vacancies for all types of teacher posts in various municipalities across the states. These posts also will be filled up.

Examinations will be held on May 2 for the aspiring candidates for the posts of SGTs, language pundits and Physical Education Teachers, on May 3 for the posts of school assistants and on May 4 for posts in the model schools.

Applications can be submitted through online from Feb 15 and the last date is March 16, according to the notification.
