BJP president Mr Nitin Gadkari announced they would create a green revolution in Telangana with Krishna waters if their party was voted to power in the next elections.

Inaugurating the Telangana Poru Yatra being undertaken by the state BJP president Kishan Reddy at Krishna village of Maganur Mandalam in Mahaboobnagar district today, Gadkari alleged that the congress party had betrayed the Telangana people with regard to formation of separate state.

“The congress is in power in the state as well as at the Centre but still Telangana creation is delayed. This is nothing but betrayal,” he observed.

Launching the Yatra along with his supporters, Kishan reddy said the creation of Telangana state was blocked by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. “Development is possible with the creation of small states only,” he said, adding that BJP would continue to fight till Telangana state is achieved.

Kishan Reddy alleged that both TDP and the congress party were trying to block his Yatra and warned of serious consequences in case of any such attempts. (JUBS)
