TDP Telangana Forum convener Mr Errabilli Dayakara rao said today a Maha Dharna would be conducted with the participation of 5000 activists at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Feb 5 to highlight the cause of the Telangana issue.
Speaking to media persons in Warangal, Dayakara rao said the dharna would also highlight the failure of the Centre in sticking to its promise on the Telangana issue.
Dayakara rao also said the TRS should explain to the people why it has been targeting the TDP in stead of the congress which has not kept its promise on the Telangana state formation. The TDP leader has also alleged that the TRS, congress and the YSR Congress have colluded together.
“The three parties have colluded together and are trying to destroy the TDP. People are well aware of the designs of these parties,” he observed, adding that the BJP has been supporting their cause.
Dayakara rao said his party president Chandrababu Naidu has clarified several times that he is not against Telangana state formation. “These parties have been trying to brand Chandrababu as anti-Telangana and TDP cadres should foil their attempts,” he said.
Dayakara rao participated in the TDP workers meeting earlier and asked the workers to be vigilant of the designs of the congress and TRS to tarnish the image of the TDP. (JUBS)
