The Congress MP from Telangana Ponnam Prabhakar expressed his ire towards the DGP of the state, today in Karimnagar to the media. He said if the DGP does not change his attitude towards the police men from Telangana region, then might revolt against the hierarchy. Speaking to the journalists he said the T-Police men were denied promotions and transfers. And this could not be tolerated for long. He added these incidents would be brought to the notice of the Union Home Minister P Chidambaram.

He also complained that the DGP was behaving like a factionist. The T-activists were treated shabbily. He felt there was a gross violation of human rights in the state in the T-agitation. He requested the state government to take immediate steps to curb this violation and take action against the erring DGP.
