Hours after the senior TDP leader Mr Motkupalli Narasimhulu charged that the deaths of Yadaiah and Srikanthachari, who reportedly committed suicide for the sake of Telangana two years ago, were not suicides but were murders, Srikanthachari’s mother Sankaramma denied the allegations.

“My son Srikanthachari sacrificed his life for the sake of Telangana and I condemn the allegations leveled by Motkupalli Narasimhulu,” she said in a statement this evening in Hyderabad.

Narasimhulu, who has been on the offensive in his criticism of TRS leadership in the recent days, charged that kerosene was poured on both Yadaiah and Srikanthachari and they were set ablaze at the behest of KCR during day time. “The murders were carried out on the orders of KCR,” he alleged.

Condemning Narasimhulu’s statement, Sankaramma asked him to call off his dramas over Telangana and change his stance towards Telangana martyrs. “If he is serious about Telangana, he should stop playing dramas and hang himself really. He should also change his stance towards the T martyrs,” she said. “Otherwise, people will drive him away from Telangana with brooms and chappals.”  (JUBS)
