The 'Jail Bharo' campaign initiated by NGO India Against Corruption (IAC) received a positive response, with over 1,33,000 people expressing their willingness online to go to jail for a strong Jan Lokpal bill. Till now, over 6,000 people have registered for the agitation through online alone from Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad being the highest enrolled followed with Eluru.  Maharashtra and Delhi  are topping the list with 1,000s of  volunteers joining hands with Team Anna.

Kiran Bedi,  tweeted, "Anna wants to know if you're willing to go to jail. The 74-year-old activist is unleashing a civil disobedience movement and wants people to court arrest to protest against the government for introducing a Lokpal Bill that he finds weak."

Although the three-day protest will start from December 27, Anna's 'Jail Bharo' movement will start from December 30 and will continue till January 1.

Team Anna has procured permission to sit on a protest at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi from December 27. However, it's still not clear who'll lead the protesters because key members of the team -- Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, Prashant Bhushan --- are likely to be part of the protest that will be held in Mumbai. An insider revealed, "Although Kumar Vishwas and Manish Sisodia, second rung leaders of Team Anna, will lead the protest, the senior members will fly down from Mumbai to make brief entries."

Due to the chilly weather conditions, getting people may turn out to be difficult.
