The APCC had finalized the selection of 8 new DCC presidents and 3 town congress presidents and their names will be officially announced on Sunday.
The districts of Medak, Nalgonda, Mahaboobnagar, Ananthapuram, Prakasam, East Godavari, West Godavari and Vijayanagaram will have new congress presidents.Warangal, Nizamabad and Nellore towns will also have new presidents.
PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana will announce the newly appointed DCC and town congress presidents tomorrow at Gandhi Bhavan.
Meanwhile, congress party senior leader and 20-point economic programme committee chairman Mr Tulasi Reddy said that the PCC has been gearing up to meet the threat of by polls in the state and is ready to face them at any point of time. (JUBS)
