VVL invokes Lord Balaji’s blessings

CBI Joint Director Mr VV Lakshminarayana today returned to Hyderabad after invoking the blessings of Lord Balaji at Tirumala on Tuesday for increased strength to investigate the number of high profile cases coming his way.

Lakshminarayana told journalists on Tirumala that he sought Lord Venkateswara’s blessings seeking relief from stress generated from round the clock investigation. “I sought more strength from the Lord and nothing more than that,” he said in a lighter vein.

The high profile CBI official had the darshan of the Lord along with his family members. The family also visited other prominent places like Srivari Paadaalu, Silatoranam, Papanasanam, Jaapaali and the Venugopala Swamy temple. Lakshminarayana and his family members had the darshan of the Lord in the night.

Lakshminarayana has been undergoing stress in recent times because of the increasing number of cases and he surely needs the blessings of the Lord. It is true that he has been regularly getting calls from his IAS and IPS colleagues with inquiries as to why his investigating team is only chasing the bureaucrats in several cases while leaving aside the politicians.

Meanwhile, former cricketer and BJP MP Mr Navajyothi Singh Siddhu also had the darshan of the Lord Venkateswara on Tuesday. Mr Siddhu was earlier involved in a controversy after abducting a security guard for stopping his car at a toll gate plaza in the Nellore district.

We only hope that he prayed the Lord seeking His blessing for keeping him off controversies. (JUBS)
