Kanimozhi, four others granted bail in 2G case

The Delhi High court today granted bail to the DMK MP Ms Kanimozhi and four other accused in the 2G Spectrum case.

The court asked them to furnish two bonds of Rs 5 lakh each and ordered them not to leave the country. Kanimozhi has been in Tihar jail since May 20.

Cineyug founder Karim Morani, Kalaignar TV's MD Sharath Kumar, Kusegaon directors Asif Balwa and Rajeev Agarwal are the other four who were granted bail.

The court also reserved its decision on bail plea of ex-Telecom Secretary Siddharth Behura. Last week, the Supreme Court granted bail to five corporate honchos in the same 2G spectrum allocation case. (JUBS)
