Congress Rajya Sabha member Mr T. Subbirami Reddy today joked with the Union agricultural Minister Mr Sharad Pawar saying he had a dream in which the latter presided over the Telangana state formation meeting.

Pawar reacted and said since Subbirami reddy is a devotee of Lord Shiva, the dream can become true also.

The satiric discussion took place in the presence of Telangana congress MPs in the central hall of Parliament. Subbirami reddy came towards Sharad Pawar who was sitting with some T congress MPs and discussing the Telangana issue.

“Jai Telangana,” said Subbirami reddy as he came towards Pawar and shook hands with him. Then he said, “I had a dream last night.”

“What dream?” asked Pawar eagerly.

“You were presiding over the meeting marking the formation of the Telangana state,” said the Congress MP smilingly.

“It could become reality as you are a devotee of Lord Shiva and you can make it happen with your Shiva Sakti,” retorted Sarad Pawar in a lighter vein.

“It may happen with the blessings of God and not due to me,” Subbirami reddy said and left the place.

The T congress MPs, who were present there, listened to the discussion in rapt attention and enjoyed it fully. (JUBS)
