CBI court adjourns hearing on IT petitions

The CBI special court at Nampally in Hyderabad today adjourned till Nov 10 hearing on the petitions filed by Income Tax officers of Hyderabad and Bangalore seeking copies of the documents and files seized during the CBI raids on the premises of YSR Congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy and the Emaar properties.

Counsel for the Emaar Properties and Jagan filed counters opposing the requests of the IT officials and asking the court not to give the copies of the seized documents to them.

Public prosecutor told the court that the CBI and the IT departments are both functioning under the jurisdiction of the Central Government and the information can be exchanged.

The court also adjourned till Nov 10 hearing on a petition fled by the IT officials seeking possession of the cash seized from the houses of Gali Janardhan reddy in Bellary.
