9 Cong MPs ready to quit party for T: Yashki

Telangana congress MP Mr Madhu Yashki Goud said today that the 9 party MPs of the region are ready to give up their posts and quit congress party to launch an agitation for achieving Telangana.

Speaking at the fasting camp of the freedom fighter Konda Lakshman Bapuji in Delhi before the winding up of the 7-day fast, Yashki said they would keep aside the party flags and fight for the separate state under the leadership of Bapuji, if necessary.

Yashki alleged that the Centre was trying to make fools out of the Telangana people and warned it not to prolong any decision on Telangana. “We will not stop our agitation till we achieve the separate state,” he said.

Meanwhile, MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga said that TRS president KCR doesn’t want the Centre to announce Telangana state now. He criticised the TRS and JAC for not announcing their support to the fast undertaken by the freedom fighter Konda Lakshman Bapuji.

He alleged KCR has entered into a secret understanding with the congress party and his aim is to accumulate more properties for him and his family members in the name of Telangana.

Minister Sankara Rao also visited the camp of Bapuji and announced his support to him.
